Lapo Ciatti. In 1984, Flavia Ciatti's polished steel and black laminate Ciatti a Tavola kitchen designs took the design world by storm: functional, practical yet with a strong, masculine unmistakably Italian aesthetic. Later with Bruno Rainaldi, the striking Ptolomeo range of bookcases was born.
In 2006, Lapo Ciatti, who represents the third generation, joined the company reinforcing it with his family entrepreneurial spirit and training in industrial design.
New confrontations and ideas that led to the creation of OPINION CIATTI (OC), again under the artistic direction of Bruno Rainaldi, with main office in Calenzano, that replaced CCR.
The relationship between Bruno Rainaldi and Lapo Ciatti is both an artistic and entrepreneurial association: OC reflects their view of design as a means of experimenting and playing with forms.
