Denton Corker Marshall is an international design practice, producing innovative and memorable architecture and urban design in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australia.
Projects exhibit our hallmark ability to solve complex design problems. Regardless of scale or type – a landmark skyscraper or a coffee cup – each project is conceived in its own right, the design generated by its unique requirements. Backed by large-scale practice capabilities, projects are undertaken within a creative studio where every stage benefits from first-hand involvement of directors.
While primarily practicing as architects, our work draws on extensive experience in city planning and urban design. It’s an approach which embraces wider urban concerns and social aspirations, delivering genuine benefit to individual project design. The practice is consistently successful in design competitions and winning commissions to design buildings of international significance.
The quality of Denton Corker Marshall's work is recognised by peer and industry groups in Australia, Asia and Europe. The firm has a significant collection of Australian Institute of Architects national, state and special awards, and in 1996 the three founding directors were jointly awarded Australia's highest architectural honour, the Gold Medal. Established in Melbourne in 1972, the practice now operates worldwide with offices in Melbourne, London, Manchester and Jakarta employing 150+ staff.
