Nicolas Monti is an architect, designer, writer and exhibition curator. Born in Milan in 1956. Graduated in Architecture from Milan Politecnico (College of Engineering). Partner Albera & Monti Architetti Associati in Milan.
In addition to designing high-end residential projects, recent projects includes museums, hospitals and offices for companies such as Google, Discovery Channel furniture, Societé Genérale, BNP Paribas. He is also active in product design for both limited series and mass-produced lighting fixtures and furniture.
His work has been widely exhibited, including in the Venice Biennale and Milan Triennale exhibitions and has won several awards. He is a frequent contributor to many design magazines and journals in Europe and he has written several books published in Italy, Spain, Portugal and the United States, including Italian Modern: A Design Heritage.
